Caithness tractor run raises over £1,500 for RSABI
04 March 2021Last August the Caithness Vintage Tractor and Machinery Club raised over £1,500 for RSABI through collections at a tractor run.
The tractor run was held in memory of club member and local farmer Ernest McAdie.
The event turned out to be the largest tractor run the club has ever held, with 48 tractors taking part in the run from Lyth to John O'Groats and had massive support from the agricultural community.
RSABI Chief Executive Nina Clancy said, "We're very grateful to the Caithness Vintage Tractor and Machinery Club and the local agricultural community for raising funds for RSABI through the memorial tractor run. The funds raised will be used to provide much-needed emotional, practical and financial support to people in Scottish agriculture."
