Downland network raises thousands for RSABI

Downland network raises thousands for RSABI

01 May 2020

Downland, a national network of independent agricultural retailers, have raised a fantastic £3748.23 for RSABI.

RSABI and RABI were chosen as Downland's charities of the year in 2019 and a range of activities took place throughout the year to fundraise including charity raffles.

Davidsons Farm and Country, based in Blairgowrie and part of Downland, donated 1p for every cattle and sheep ear tag they sold during 2019 to RSABI.

Nina Clancy, CEO of RSABI, said: "We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone in the Downland network who raised money for RSABI in 2019, during their 40th anniversary year. The money raised will help us provide us to provide emotional, financial and practical support to people in Scottish agriculture."

The Downland network consists of 28 independently-owned agricultural retailers. Supplying animal health products for over 100 years they have an established reputation for delivering quality products with expert advice.

RSABI is helping around 25-30 new clients every month and donations are vital to help us provide our services to more people. Go to our Donate page to make a one-off donation or become part of our Supporters Scheme from just £2 a month.
