Virtual Great Glen Challenge 2021
Friday 27 August 2021Venue: Anywhere
Time: midnight to 00:59
On Friday 27 August take part in our first-ever Virtual Great Glen Challenge and walk, run, cycle or kayak a distance of your choice to raise funds to help support people in Scottish agriculture.
We want as many people as possible to take the time to get away from farm and croft work, or away from your desk, do some exercise to improve your wellbeing, and have some fun raising funds for RSABI. Share your challenge on social media by posting your photos using #GGC21 and tagging RSABI.
It's free to take part, and everyone who raises over £75 will receive a special edition Virtual Great Glen Challenge polo shirt following the event. Choose your size on registration. See our Sizing Guide for more information.
- Get the kids involved with a 5km cycle after school
- Go head-to-head with another team in your company or family to see who can raise the most money
- Don some fancy dress and go for a run
- Or even walk the equivalent of a marathon!
The virtual Great Glen Challenge 2021 is kindly sponsored by The Scottish Farmer and we’re using the fundraising platform Enthuse and the activity app Strava for the challenge. We've got lots more information in our event guide about the Virtual Great Glen Challenge, and if you have a question check out our FAQs or drop us an email at email@example.com.
Download a sponsorship form if you want to raise funds offline.
On the last Friday in August we traditionally hold the Great Glen Challenge which sees teams of four complete a race of walking, running, cycling and kayaking. The annual event raises on average £50,000 for RSABI. In 2020 we were unable to hold the face-to-face race and sadly this year is the same but we’ve decided to hold a virtual challenge on Friday 27 August instead. We plan to hold the Great Glen Challenge face-to-face in August 2022. If you’d like to reserve a team place email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
