Find out about fundraising here
Perhaps you are involved in your own fundraising initiative, small or large, or feel you would like to get involved in one of our own events listed on this site. Whatever the background, do get in touch. We'll be happy to help!
- Money: There are many ways to collect and send RSABI money you have raised via your fundraising efforts. These include online donations via Virgin Money Giving, text giving, cash, cheques and bank transfers. If your sponsors are donating online via a fundraising page on our Virgin Money Giving platform, you don't need to do anything.
- Gift Aid: A quick and easy way to generate additional income is to ask your sponsors to gift aid their donations. We can supply a sponsorship form including Gift Aid declaration as well as collection envelopes printed with a declaration. Gift Aid allows RSABI to claim an extra 25% from HMRC.
- Publicity and marketing: Don't forget to shout about the great support you are giving to RSABI. Email, website, social media, newsletters, posters, press releases and local radio can all generate interest and funds. We can help with all of these so please contact us for more information.
- Materials: We have a range of materials to promote and help support events.

Institute of Fundraising
There are rules and regulations around all aspects of fundraising such as running raffles, entertainment, food and drink, health and safety and so on. The loF have a simple set of guidelines published on their website as a code of conduct.
Please be aware that the information within this webpage was believed to be correct at the time of publishing and anything included should not be taken as legal or financial advice. As an organiser of your own event, you are responsible for all aspects of your fundraising, but we will be here to support and give advice.
